Lovely day for the park

Yesterday was one week since Macey has been home. And it has been a busy week! Several Christmas celebrations were had and our house is exploding with toys. I think both girls have loved it.

Yesterday was a really nice day and we all have cabin fever. So we loaded up and went to the park. The girls had a nice time sliding and swinging. But I think what they enjoyed most was feeding the ducks and nutria (sp?). Kevin brought a loaf of bread for us to tear apart and throw. Kevin, Lena and I threw lots of bread. Macey, our big eater, ate more of her bread than she shared with the animals!



Lena went back to school today and was not happy about it. She wanted Macey to go too. Macey has her first doctor's appointment on Monday and we'll get her vaccinations started then. After that, I'll get her enrolled in school. That'll make Lena much happier!
