Yesterday Macey saw the IA doctor at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston. What a day she had!
First of all, she weighed 26.6 lbs and was 34 inches tall! That's 50 percentile for weight and 75 percentile for height. Who said Chinese babies were all small?? :) Not our healthy girl! Her heart, lungs, ears, throat all sound/look good. She has not shown any illness at all in the month we've had her. She appears to have a few allergies but nothing terrible.
Poor baby was stuck 6 times...4 vaccinations, 1 TB test, and 1 for bloodwork. She did cry quite a bit but bounced right back after some mommy love. I have to scoop poop from diapers in the next couple of days to check for parasites and then take her back Wed or Thurs to have the TB test read.
It was a busy, long afternoon. These poor babies go through so much, don't they? And yet they are so strong and brave! My Macey really was a great patient.
Here's a photo with her "battle scars"! I have a similar photo from Lena's first doc visit. If I can find it, I'll upload it later.

She is a healthy girl. Reese was just over 2.5 years when we got her last May and she was 24 lbs and 34 inches tall. She's now 36 inches tall and 29 lbs at 3 years and 3 months.
Glad things are going good.
