Sisters, they are!

The first 1.5 weeks home with Macey were rough. Mainly they were rough on Lena, which made them rough on us all. She reacted I guess as a typical 3.5 year old whose house had just been invaded by a new sibling. But we adopted an almost-2-year-old sibling. So instead of a new baby who would steal our attention but not be able to steal Lena's toys, she got a sibling who could walk around and get into her stuff.

I give her credit - she never took out her anger or resentment on Macey really. She might have said to me, "I don't want Macey!" but she never hit her or yelled at her or any of that. She had temper tamtrums and behaved very badly. But mostly she was pretty nice to Macey.

We've been home now for 23 days and we are settling in. The girls are getting to know each other and playing pretty well together most of the time. Here are some photos that display their sisterly love...

Ah, adorable!! I'm so relieved to finally be getting some peace around here and seeing them play together so well. I predict they'll be very close. :)

They both start school tomorrow at FBA...I'll post about that tomorrow night!

You can see God's work in both of those precious angels. They were destined to be sisters and they look so happy. I am so happy for you. Love always, Kristy
